It’s quiet despite being near the beach and everything else. The rooms are lovely, breakfast is great, and the hosts really go out of their way for their guests. Grazie Mille Marino pur tutti!

I came away wondering whether the earlier reviews were fake, because my phone call was nothing but rude. I asked if a room was free from June 27th to 29th, through Sunday. He asked me to hold, and while I was on hold he heard me swearing. The call then got cut off by accident, and he rang back to say he had a room until Saturday. I clarified that I meant Friday through Sunday and asked if that meant there was only a Saturday night available. He said I’d asked for “today,” then confirmed one night and asked which room I wanted, in a rude way that made me feel like a nuisance. I said I hadn’t seen the rooms on the website and could tell him how many people would be staying. He acted as if that was obviously what he meant, then kept asking how many people in an insistent, rude tone. I said I’d look elsewhere, and he just said bye and hung up. I got the impression he thought I was a girl, since he started speaking to me informally. Stay away from these rude people.
