The owner was very kind and ready to help if anything came up. This pretty little house has a cozy, antique feel, and its private garden is a lovely spot to enjoy as you walk up the hill to the viewpoint above the Serchio River and Ponte della Maddalena. It’s close to Borgo a Mozzano, roughly a half-hour walk from the town station. The location links Garfagnana with the larger cities of Lucca and Pisa, making it a great base for a few days of exploring the area.

The owner provided excellent service, and the house is really nice. You can make use of the main villa’s garden, too. It’s well placed for getting to Versilia and the cities around Tuscany. Highly recommended!
