The countryside setting was peaceful, with crickets at night and no crowds or busy roads nearby. There were plenty of mosquitoes, though. The window screens helped, but you still had to watch open doors and windows, especially with lights on. Breakfast had a good selection and what looked like homemade cake. There was also a well-equipped shared kitchenette with a fridge. The shared bathroom wasn't made clear when we booked, and taking that into account, we felt the price was a bit high. Dogs barking at night made it hard for me to fall asleep. We understand that can be hard to control, but it's something to consider when running a B&B.

Our cycling team of 11 stayed for one night. The place was clean and comfortable, and the owner was so helpful and friendly. Thanks for everything.

The rooms were spacious and clean, and the setting felt romantic. What stood out was how thoughtful the owners were: that afternoon, they went out to buy gluten-free breakfast food, which they hadn't had when we arrived. My partner also loved the homemade tart. I couldn't try it because of my gluten intolerance. Highly recommended for a stay during the camper van show weekend.
