The pool was a nice extra, especially for the children, though it could use some attention: a few tiles were loose and the furniture looked worn. There’s a bus stop nearby, but buses don’t come often, and the bakery is just a short walk away, though it closes in the afternoon. We had an enjoyable stay in this charming traditional B&B. Our room was clean and comfortable with air conditioning, and breakfast was plentiful. It’s about a 20-minute walk to the center of Lucca.

The rooms were comfortable, the breakfast was well served, and the air conditioning was strong enough for the summer heat. The main entrance to Lucca is a 35-minute walk away, or you can rent a bike for half a day or a full day and get around easily.

We made good use of the large garden and the lovely pool at the far end, and there was free parking for the car. The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful. It’s an old building, so some floors are uneven, but that adds to its character. Our room suited us well, with tasteful decor, a comfortable bed, and good linen. Breakfast had an excellent range of choices.

The people were so friendly, and we really enjoyed our stay. We liked cooling off in the pool in the afternoon before heading for aperitivo in Piazza San Michele. The rooms are medium-sized and very comfortable, with air conditioning. Breakfast on the patio was lovely, a great start to a Tuscan day. It’s not far from the city center or the highway.

Il Casale Di Nanni has comfortable rooms, a good breakfast, a summer pool, and a large private parking area if you’re arriving by car. The price is very good for the quality. It seems like a great choice for families, couples, or groups, and I’d absolutely recommend it.
