We were told we'd have the whole house, but ended up with just one shabby room. It was dirty and neglected throughout. Maybe booking it as a B&B would be fine. Take a torch, or you could fall on the stairs, since they're unlit.

The owner is really kind. Sadly, that's the only thing I can praise.

There was a strong smell of smoke as soon as we entered the B&B. Our family of five was put in one room, with uncomfortable beds and old blankets that smelled really pungent. It was still very cold, and towels had been used to block drafts coming through the window. We also had to share a bathroom, which felt unhygienic. Best not to stay here.

The smoke smell, the cold, and the cleanliness and hygiene well below any decent minimum made this B&B a place to avoid if you don't want your vacation ruined. I wonder why nobody has stepped in to close it yet. EDIT: The worst became clear when we went into the bathroom. We would have told him, if he'd replied.

Mrs. Vittoria was incredibly kind, and the rooms were spacious and charming. It felt like staying at your aunt's place. There's greenery all around, a lovely spot to rest and relax, about a 15-minute walk from the center of Brisighella. Highly recommended.
