Hotel 4 Mori

At €70-75, the hotel was okay overall. The location is great, right by the harbour and train station, and the room was cleaned daily and generally quite clean. The furniture was a bit old, though, and the fridge wasn’t in the best condition. I didn’t have breakfast, so I can’t comment on it. The reception staff were extremely unfriendly. Once, I took my key from the receptionist and went up to my room with a friend. I showed him the room briefly, then brought him back to the lobby. The woman at reception freaked out and almost shouted, asking why I’d taken someone to my room. I said I was just showing it to him, and she told me I needed permission in advance to bring anyone else into the hotel. It was a very weird situation. Maybe she thought we were gay or something. I’d booked five nights and extended the reservation by one more on the last day. When I came back that evening, the receptionist asked me something in Italian that I couldn’t understand and seemed confused about why I was still asking about my room. I explained that I’d booked another night, then she checked the system and apologized after a few minutes.
