The room was clean and good value for the money, in a convenient location close to the train station. Staff were flexible and replied right away. My thanks to them for changing my booking to a room at Via Cavour, 93, which was much closer to the station and important for my early flight. When I booked, I looked at Via Roma, 167 on Google Maps and then checked the website for other rooms there. It wasn't clear that the room I selected had a different address, and the confirmation email showed a photo but no address. The room was a bit farther from the station than I expected. The walls were thin, too, so I could hear the neighbors in the next room and street noise.

Being able to check in whenever I arrived was a big reason I picked Onlyrooms. The room was clean, the furnishings had thoughtful details, and it was close to both the central station and the historic center.

For a short stay, this B&B works well. It's right in central Cagliari, close to everything, and takes a green approach, including careful recycling. There are no toiletries or little single-use shower gel bottles, just dispensers. Watch out if you're driving: it's in a restricted traffic zone and you could get fined for parking there.

If you sleep heavily and only need somewhere cheap to crash, this could suit you. For me, though, the stay was disappointing beyond the WhatsApp service. The alley was narrow and quite noisy, and the flight path to Cagliari Airport seemed to pass almost directly overhead. Neighbors also had loud conversations at 2:30 a.m., so sleeping in or getting a full night's rest wasn't really possible. We weren't given clear information about the supposed breakfast at a nearby bar. I wouldn't recommend it.
