Ristorante Hotel Emi

We didn’t end up staying, though we should have. We had no reservation, but they still seated us. The food was unbelievable and excellent, and the service was great. Everyone was friendly and very helpful.

We were in Bologna for two days, staying at another bnb, and tried Emis Restaurant on someone’s recommendation. The "Bestseller" Pizza was delicious and an absolute must-try. We liked it so much we came back two days in a row!

The service was very good and friendly, and even the pizza we got after arriving late, when the restaurant kitchen had closed, turned out to be very good. It’s a small, cozy hotel fairly near the airport, though you still need a taxi to get there and back. The rooms are a bit dated but clean. I’d worried about plane noise, but it was quiet at night, and they provided earplugs, a nice touch. I can recommend it if you need to spend a night close to the airport.

The restaurant was just as good as the hotel, with excellent food, good wine, and impeccable service. I really enjoyed the tiramisu and the pizza. It was a great find. The room was clean and spacious, with a little private patio. The hotel seems to be family run, and all the staff were kind and accommodating. They arranged transport for my early flight the next day. You can hear planes landing or taking off, as you’d expect, and the property had provided a pair of earplugs.
