Villa Borgovecchio B&B

Giacomo and his family made us feel looked after from the moment we arrived, and we really enjoyed their restaurant suggestions. We had a fantastic week here. The place was more peaceful, comfortable, and well kept than some five-star hotels I’ve stayed in. Our rooms were quiet and maintained to a high standard. The food was among the freshest and best we’ve tasted, even though they say it doesn’t match a “proper” restaurant. Breakfast was perfect too. The breakfast was a highlight: fresh pastries, fruit in season, and egg and avocado toast made just right. The coffee was strong, fresh, and always on hand. We’ve stayed at Villa Borgovecchio twice now, and its quiet, postcard-like setting is a big part of the charm. Giacomo and his mother Vana are so welcoming that we felt like old friends. Our room was spotless and beautifully decorated, and housekeeping took care of every detail. The little touches made the stay feel personal, from the useful local advice to the cozy lounge. It’s hospitality at its best. We can’t wait to return, and next time we’ll stay longer.

The family running the villa were so kind and welcoming that we felt at home right away. Their dinners were delicious, and watching the sunset over the landscape while eating was unforgettable. Breakfast was just as good, with plenty of fresh options. We spent three nights here in April, and it became the highlight of our whole Tuscany holiday. The rooms were even lovelier than the photos, which is unusual. Everything was charming, comfortable, and spotless. We’d gladly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

It’s in a very quiet spot, and the furnishings are stylish. The rooms and the rest of the property were consistently clean and well maintained.
