The price had been agreed and confirmed over the phone, but it was changed when we arrived. Those business practices felt unserious and very unprofessional. It seems they don’t need international guests.

The location worked well for us, out in the Campi Bisenzio countryside but close to the I Gigli shopping center, where you can also eat, and near Florence. We stayed in a renovated historic villa, which is very pretty. Our room was lovely, with a spotless bed, clean bathroom, and a beautiful countryside view from the window. The ensuite bathroom had no window, but the ventilation worked well. Parking is limited, though we always managed to find a space. Breakfast was satisfying. You can order sweet or savory items from a pastry shop the day before, choosing from pastries, pizzas, and toast. Coffee, yogurt, and cereal are also available. I’m lactose intolerant, so I couldn’t try the yogurt, but there were other choices such as muffins, plus a great range of fruit juices.

The rooms were clean, and they changed the towels and sheets every day. Still, the place needs renovations and more attention. What really bothered me was the strong air freshener smell in the room, though the cleanliness itself deserves praise.

The grounds are lovely, all green gardens and roses, and my room was spotless. Service was really friendly and helpful. The area is quite large, but the location suited me perfectly, close to Asmana and the Gigli shopping center. A magnificent place. Thanks again, and I hope to come back soon!
