The price felt fair for what you get. The apartment is right in central Canale Monterano, across from the church, with two bedrooms, a living room and kitchenette, and a bathroom without a bidet. One bedroom has a sofa bed, the other has two bunk beds. Getting upstairs takes two fairly steep flights, which my parents struggled with, so it may not suit older guests or anyone with mobility issues. There’s heat pump air conditioning in one bedroom, but no heating in the living room, which gets chilly in winter.

Parking was easy and the location was handy. The apartment is basic, though, and you have to climb a fair number of stairs. Air conditioning is only in one room, and the bidet is a makeshift setup. The lady was very kind.

There are bars, tobacco shops, and restaurants within 150 meters, and the apartment is right in the middle of a lovely village. It’s very nice. My only little gripe is that the bathroom fixtures could be kept up better.

The owners made us feel so welcome, and the house was spotless with everything we needed. I’m really happy with our stay, everything was perfect! The place is enchanting, and I’d recommend going for a weekend too.

A cozy house and not expensive, but nothing out of the ordinary. The bathroom is very small.
