The vegetarian food was a highlight for me. Even if you're not vegetarian, the creative, delicious dishes could be a pleasant surprise. Every evening there's a lovely five-course menu, and breakfast has freshly made porridge, pancakes, croissants, and different egg dishes. Hotel Pordoi is family-run and wonderfully located, with direct access to the ski slopes via what feels like a private lift into the heart of the Sella Ronda ski area. At around 2,100 meters, the views are spectacular. Service was outstanding, and the value for money sensational. I'll definitely return and highly recommend it.

The junior suite had a breathtaking view, and there are lots of hiking possibilities right outside. We spent three nights with half board and everything was just perfect. Breakfast had so many vegan choices, including croissants, pancakes, toast, soy yougurt, hummus, and more. Each dinner was a fully vegan five-course tasting menu, beautifully presented and so, so good after a long day hiking in the mountains. There are Finnish and Turkish saunas in the spa. All the staff were welcoming and nice, and we felt really comfortable there as a lesbian couple.

During our one-night stay on the alta via trek, we had great service, tasty food, and comfortable rooms with a lovely view. You can't even tell it's a vegetarian hotel.

My family had stayed at this hotel for over 30 years. Unfortunately, a couple of years ago it became vegetarian only, which has greatly affected the food on offer and brought in a ‘berlinesque’ kind of crowd. If you like Italian food and fellow holidaymakers who aren't woke, better look elsewhere.
