Hotel Blu Hotel Morisco

Edit, 30.10.25: Things started nicely, but the quality slipped as the week went on. Near the end of the season, the bar had run out of some drinks and wasn't restocking. The food felt like whatever was left: three pasta choices for starters and three pork mains. The ice cream was gone, and the hors d'oeuvres were mostly meat and cheese spread over lots of plates to make it look like more. Breakfast was also starting to have gaps. It's a shame. If you pay for seven days, you'd expect the same quality at the end as at the start. Maybe it's better earlier in the season, but I can't say that for sure. 26.10.25, first review: A nice, clean and tidy hotel, with very friendly and helpful staff, lots of food choices, and a really good place to stay. One thing that could be better is the room setup: there's no kettle, and no glasses either. You can bring drinking glasses back from the bar, but not having a kettle feels like a missed opportunity.

This old, overpriced hotel is nowhere near a four-star standard. There was no iron in the room or anywhere else in the hotel, and the rooms also had no kettle or crockery. It's a very basic place that doesn't offer even standard facilities. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

For the money, it's a good hotel with good services and friendly staff. Breakfast was plentiful and pretty good, while dinner was okay but a little bland. The dinner arrangements, though, were chaotic and let the place down. All in all, a good hotel.

Michaela at reception was especially nice and explained the hotel's facilities and amenities from our first day. The other staff were helpful and pleasant, and the food was tasty. We also liked the clean, uncrowded pool. It's a short walk to the beach, with plenty of free parking nearby and a large garden with playing fields behind the hotel. We had a very good stay.
