Sandalia Boutique Hotel - Adults Only

Sandalia is in a lovely little neighborhood, close to restaurants and shopping, and you can walk just about everywhere. There's a nearby beach, though we drove to other, nicer ones. We also met our boat excursion to the Maddalena Islands at that beach, which worked out well for the trip. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were incredible. The hotel manager helped us with a parking fine that had been issued wrongly, calling the municipal office for us. Manuel and Ahlem at the desk were delightful and helped with things to do, beaches, where to go on the rainy day, and any problems we ran into. The wait staff were kind and went above and beyond. If we return to northern Sardegna, we'd definitely stay here again.

The drinks were very expensive, and the hotel felt overlooked in the middle of a housing estate. We heard the person above us walking laps of the room like an elephant, which wasn't the staff's fault but didn't improve the stay. Our suite, No5, was apparently an upgrade, yet it was in a very dark, unwelcoming basement. It had two huge TVs but no kettle. The staff were great, though. I wouldn't go back.

The reception team and the people serving the excellent breakfast were all really good. We had a wonderful four-night stay, with perfect rooms, facilities and location. I'd highly recommend it to anyone staying in the area.

We spent a lovely week here and thought it was great value for money. Our room had a view of both the pool and the sea, and the location was amazing. Staff were friendly, professional, always smiling and ready to help. Housekeeping was spot on, breakfast was very good, and the bar service was great. We'll definitely come back.
