B&B Melanella

The sunsets over the sea were beautiful, and the rooms had all the comforts we needed. The B&B is also very close to the town center. Mrs. Antonella and her daughter Melania were so kind and helpful throughout our stay. And a special mention for Mrs. Antonella's delicious cakes 😍.... We had a fantastic time.

The view from the property is breathtaking, and the sea is only a few kilometers away. We felt right at home: the owner was welcoming and ready to help with anything. The rooms and the rest of the property were clean and tidy, and breakfast came with plenty of delicious homemade food. I highly recommend this B&B.

It only takes 10-15 minutes to get to the sea, and there are plenty of lovely places to explore around Cilento. The B&B itself is in a peaceful spot, with beautiful views of both the sea and the mountains. Antonella, the owner, is friendly, sociable, helpful, pleasant, and honest. Breakfast was superb, especially the tasty homemade desserts, and the rooms were spotless. Excellent prices. 5 stars.

We stayed at B&B Melanella from August 8 to August 16, 2020, and would happily come back, in summer or for shorter stays during the year. Everything was perfect, and the Covid-19 regulations were followed. Antonella and everyone working there deserve thanks for making our holiday such a good one. Breakfast was a real highlight. It was included, with plenty of thoughtful touches and everything needed for a good start to the day. Antonella looked after it herself, baking cakes during our stay, and there were fresh croissants every morning. My daughter and granddaughter still talk about their time there, especially those cakes. They were up at 7:30 a.m. each day, drawn out of bed by the irresistible breakfast smell. The rooms matched the description, with comfortable, well-planned furnishings, excellent bathrooms, and everything newly built. Air conditioning was available with individual controls, though we didn't need it because the place stayed cool. The property is surrounded by unspoiled greenery, in the heart of Capaccio (Sa), with local food all around. Restaurants, pizzerias, and agritourisms served excellent food at fair prices. Antonella's recommendations won't steer you wrong, and just steps from the B&B there are pizzas, sandwiches, lunches, and full dinners to choose from. With the shortcuts and narrow roads Antonella carefully explained, we could reach the sea in 15-20 minutes. There was a wide choice of public and private beaches.
