Marlin Guest House

The apartment was generally clean and spacious, and the host service was good. It wasn't fancy, but fine for a day or two. The location was very good, close to la piazzeta, though there was no view. Internet is a big deal on vacation and there wasn't any. The apartment we got wasn't the one shown in the listing. For the quality, the price felt high, though Capri is expensive in general. The bed linen needed an upgrade or better cleaning, the bed could use memory foam, and the shower pressure was low, though it was still usable.

We needed internet for work, so we ended up buying our own after the room had no usable Wi-Fi. There was technically a signal right beside the router, as the woman who checked us in had said, but it disappeared once we went into the room and shut the door. The listing said Wi-Fi was available. When I contacted the guest house about the room's lack of service, they ignored me until I followed up several times, then said it wasn't their fault. Customer service was terrible, the rooms felt dirty, and I wouldn't stay again.

We booked the large room with a balcony. It was very clean, had a good standard, and the location was good too.

Basic room, nice and clean, in a good spot.
