The location is why we booked here for a second year: it’s a five-minute walk to Leolandia, with no pedestrian crossing, which was handy since we were traveling by train and had no car. The stay itself was a disaster. We’re two adults and a child, and both years we asked our travel agent to arrange a triple room. About a week before we arrived, the agent called to check that our request had been handled this time and the property said yes. Yet once again, we got a double room squeezed into a triple with a camp bed for my daughter and barely any space to move. The previous year they’d even struggled to add a third bed and seemed to think our then four-year-old could sleep between us. Breakfast was an easy decision: we went straight to the McDonald’s next to Leolandia. We definitely won’t stay here again.

There’s a whirlpool tub in the modern, functional room, along with air conditioning, a mini fridge that’s a little noisy, a microwave, and a coffee pod machine. The building has private parking, and check-in is self-service.

The hot tub didn’t work properly and was surrounded by black mold. There was mold on the walls too, and the smell was unpleasant. The mezzanine was unsafe, with no protection, exposed screws, and sharp iron corners at head level. The room’s hygiene was awful: hair everywhere, dust balls among the sugar packets, dirty cups, and broken stools. I told the staff how bad the room was, but they neither moved us nor sent anyone to clean. It’s a disgrace.

Leolandia is only a four-minute walk away, with no pedestrian crossing, and you can also walk to the shopping center, Burger King, and the trattorias. Parking is convenient if you want to walk to the park and avoid the crazy traffic. The staff were really friendly, quick to reply even on WhatsApp, and gave us tips for Leolandia and places to eat. Breakfast had a bit of everything, though it was packaged food. The room was spacious and had lots of tech to make things independent, but the bathroom needs updating: there was mold and the water didn’t drain well.
