B&B La Rocca

Isabella was a huge help with figuring out what to do and how to get around, especially since I was traveling solo without a car. Buses make many nearby towns easy to reach, though Florence takes a bit longer. Breakfast was substantial, and I joined two other guests for dinner one evening. The food was delicious, and Isabella was happy to work around my dietary needs. The room was comfortable and nicely furnished, the property is gorgeous, and the view over Florence and the Tuscan mountains is breathtaking. Isabella and Margherita were both incredibly kind and welcoming, and staying a couple of days made it easy to get to know them. The warm atmosphere felt well worth the price. I’d stay again and can’t wait to recommend it to friends and family. Thank you, Isabella and Margherita!

We were happy to leave after spending time relaxing in the garden and taking in the sunshine and scenery. The location is peaceful and beautiful, just outside Florence, and the hosts were very kind and spoke English well. A few minutes' walk takes you to a nearby town where we had the best dinner of our trip so far. The building is old and interesting, but needs quite a bit of work. Our room was freezing at night when we visited in April. We also hadn't realized from the website that it was more of a hostel setup, with shared bathrooms. Breakfast is provided, though it's self-serve: some packaged items are left out overnight and the rest is in a small fridge.

This was my second time at this special place, and it really feels like home. The countryside stretches out around you, and the quiet setting is so restorative it feels like heaven. Isabella welcomes everyone with so much heart. Her homemade five-course Italian dinners in the tower are wonderful, and she’s a lovely resource for tips on where to go and how to get there. She even gives guests a ride from the town center to the villa, so you don’t have to carry your luggage on foot. The historic buildings are rugged, but you have everything you need for a lovely stay, with plenty of day trips within reach. Don’t hesitate to book, you’ll love it ❤️👑

The views from up here are incredible, with Florence right in sight. Isabella is so kind and helpful, and the quaint rooms make it easy to get to know the other guests. Getting around is manageable, though it does take a bit of planning.
