I’ll definitely be back. This is a perfect escape from everyday life, whether you’re a couple or a young family, and I’d recommend it to anyone wanting to get away. The family who run the place are incredibly welcoming and make sure you leave with a full belly. Seriously, be ready to roll down the steps! One of the calmest, most relaxing places you could go in Italy.

We only managed three nights at San Giorgio with our family and friends, and I really wish we’d stayed longer. It’s a peaceful family spot amid the mountains and lovely forests of Cilento. The place is close to Paestum, which is a must-see, and Anna Maria can point you toward plenty of other local places. She even helped us with directions before we arrived so we could avoid heavy traffic. We felt more at home than like guests at a farm house. Anna Maria and her family looked after us from the moment we called. The property is meticulously cared for, with a lush garden, grass kept like a Wimbledon lawn, flowers everywhere, and a wonderful veranda for enjoying the view over breakfast. Anna Maria always served it with a smile, and it was tasty. The rooms were clean, cozy, and air conditioned, with fresh, soft towels. The classic furniture, huge comfortable beds, and big bathrooms all had that STILE ITALIANO feel. And the pool was the cleanest I’ve been in lately, treated and serviced every day. Its surrounding area was spotless and well organised. We also tried IL NIDO, the best tavern in the area according to our experience, with delicious seafood and BBQ, a beautiful pool, and surprisingly reasonable prices. Can’t wait to return. I left a piece of my heart there.
AnnaMaria hosted an amazing pasta cooking lesson that we got to join, and the family were always friendly, helpful, and supportive. The rooms are cozy, clean, and practical, and the pool is fantastic, big enough for swimming while still safe for children. The dinners are delicious too, so be sure to try one. We spent two weeks at San Giorgio with our daughters, ages 3 and 5. It’s just right for families: away from the crowds but still close enough to town, the beach, and lovely attractions. I’m so glad we found this gem and highly recommend it.
This is what a vacation should be: great accommodation, kind people, good food, and a lovely pool. There’s air conditioning, and you can eat at the agriturismo for a fair price. The surroundings are quiet, yet the beach and its many activities are only a 10-minute drive away.
A nice, well-equipped self-catering place near the coast, with a great pool and WiFi. There are lovely spots to sit outside in the shade.
