The shower was a real highlight, a gorgeous walk-in, and the bathroom was clean. I was there for just one night, but the room was spacious, warm, spotless, and superb. You’ll need a car to reach the place. In winter, fog can make it a little tricky to find.

We had four rooms for our two-night stay, and Mulino Delle Valli was good value. It’s a simple B&B, but clean, and the owners were extremely friendly. Each room had A/C and a mini refrigerator stocked with complimentary water, sodas, and beer. Breakfast was outside at a big table in a lovely countryside setting. The cheese and ham were fresh; the croissants came pre-packaged, and juice and coffee were self-serve. It’s fairly isolated, though Verona and Mantova are only 45 minutes away. I’d stay again.

I strongly do not recommend this hostel. There was no humanity here, just bureaucracy and commercialism. I’ve been visiting Italy for over 20 years for holidays and work, and Italian hotels and B&Bs have usually treated me with a lot of understanding. Here, all I encountered was money, with no one willing to understand my situation.
