We only had two days, but really liked the neighborhood. The ground-floor location made us a little unsure at first, though the area was clean and quiet, and we loved opening the windows to look out at the canal. The place itself was extremely delightful. A restaurant across the canal has a huge garden dining area and was fabulous. A couple of small things: the washing machine needs instructions, and we couldn’t quite figure out the dishwasher.

The owner was easy to reach on WhatsApp, gave us useful advice, and was very friendly. The apartment has Venetian-style decor and is conveniently close to the boats and buses. My only small reservation was that it could have been cleaner.

A very spacious, comfortable apartment that was exceptionally clean and hygienic. The location was excellent, and it was great value for the money.

Everything else was fine, though the sofa bed wasn't comfortable.
