The spa receptionist Federica was fantastic, always kind and professional. She gave us thoughtful suggestions and clear directions each day, which made the stay even better and helped me see the best places. I was there the first week of August, and it was peaceful and relaxing, with a good breakfast. Annalia, the cheerful, very professional masseuse, was especially lovely. Her massages were expertly done and left me feeling better both mentally and physically. I'll definitely return. 10/10.

After three nights, a receptionist called to say my room was no longer available and I had to leave. I had told them I'd stay a few days, but hadn't said when I was checking out. The manager then told me the same thing, though he had another room for me. It was cramped, small, and had no air conditioning. In the extreme heat, I couldn't sleep, and I couldn't open the window. That same evening I checked online and saw the hotel still had an air-conditioned room for sale. The whole situation felt completely unprofessional and unfair. The hotel itself is run-down and needs a full renovation. The rooms have no air conditioning, and the windows face those of neighboring rooms, so there's no privacy. There's no parking, and the urban surroundings are shabby. Breakfast was poor too, with no fresh bread, toaster, fresh fruit, or juice.

The rooftop thermal pool more than made up for the indoor spa being closed because of Covid. We also enjoyed the home-cooked food, from breakfast desserts to simple but tasty dinners, and even the lunchtime snack on the terrace. We booked this place at random and were pleasantly surprised to feel like part of the family. The rooms were spotless, service was impeccable, and the owners and staff were attentive and worked well together. I'll definitely come back!

The tiles and the staff were the bright spots. The waiter, who was the maître d', was especially friendly, attentive to what guests needed, and very professional. Dinner was good and breakfast plentiful. But our room was awful. No mini-fridge or air conditioning, and the bathroom window could be seen from rooms above until we complained and they fixed it. The shower curtain was horrible and kept sticking to me. At 6:50 a.m. there was such loud kitchen noise that it sounded like demolition, and sleeping was impossible. The elevator filled with car exhaust fumes, and the lock didn't work properly.
