Agriturismo Sughericcio

Our apartment had a cozy kitchenette, a living room with a fireplace and sofa, one bedroom, a separate room with two beds for the kids, and a roomy bathroom with a shower. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and we slept soundly. There was also a private patio with a table and chairs for eating outside. Everything was spotless, and we had a wonderful stay. The owners are lovely, kind people who make you feel at home. The farmhouse is surrounded by greenery and kept beautifully. It’s peaceful, with lawns, trees, and shaded spots, yet only 7 minutes from the sea. There are about five apartments, and plenty to keep kids and teens busy: basketball, bocce, ping pong, skittles, foosball, and soccer. Cavallino Matto amusement park is just 6 minutes away. It’s an ideal place to relax and enjoy both the countryside and the sea. We’ll definitely return to this little paradise. Thanks again for the hospitality, see you soon. Enzo, Manuela, Gabriel, and Damiano.

The hosts are incredibly welcoming and friendly, and they go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. The place is close to a main road, yet remarkably peaceful. Highly recommended!

It’s 2 km from Castagneto and 5 km from Marina di Castagneto and Donoratico. A fantastic farmhouse with all the amenities you could need, from a shower and TV to a fully equipped kitchen. There’s a lovely, well-kept garden too, plus a soccer field and basketball court. The owners are wonderful, friendly, and helpful.

The hostess was warm, chatty, and always around when we needed her. We loved the quiet setting among the olive trees, with a little lawn, a veranda to sit and cool off, and a barbecue. There’s a small riding stable nearby, though it isn’t for riding, and I was happy just having horses and cats around. The interiors are rustic and very well cared for. It’s peaceful here, but only a five-minute drive to the sea or supermarkets, and Castagneto Carducci and Bolgheri are easy to reach too. There’s no Wi-Fi, which was the one possible drawback, though I found it helped me unwind. We’ll definitely come back.
