Casa Faretto - Monviso

Adrienne was a fantastic host, and we had a wonderful time in the area. We stayed in the two bedroom apartment, but with its two floors it felt more like a house. It sits on top of a hill with incredible views, and every part of it felt carefully designed, furnished, and equipped to a very high standard. The beds were wonderfully comfortable, and even the kitchen equipment was a pleasure to use. We hope to return.

Casa Faretto was the high point of our month in the Piemonte wine region. We stayed in the roomy two bedroom, two bathroom apartment, which felt like a house and worked perfectly for four adults spending a week together in comfort. Our friends had the larger house, a great place for entertaining with a beautiful kitchen, outdoor area, and its own pool. Every detail in this luxury home felt considered, and it had all we needed to relax, cook, and enjoy the views across the hills and vineyards. It's centrally placed for Barolo, Neive, and La Morra, with restaurants and wineries nearby. We had such a memorable time that we started imagining having our own Casa Faretto one day. Thanks to the owners for making us feel so welcome in this part of Italy. If you're visiting the Costigliole D'Asti area, it's a gem and the place to stay.

We spent a week here as two families, eight adults in the house's largest apartment. It had everything we needed and was fitted out with quality equipment. Having our own pool and area was great, even though there's also a shared pool on the other side. The natural surroundings are beautiful, with views stretching far into the distance. Martijn was really helpful and made sure we had a good week. We'd love to come back.

The location in the landscape is spectacular, and the house is a real gem. Inside, the details have been designed with so much care. We enjoyed walking in the hills and the friendly atmosphere, and there are plenty of good restaurants and wineries nearby. It's also a great base for day trips to places like Barolo, Alba, and many others. Thanks to the owner and caretaker for being so helpful, hospitable, and making us feel at home.
