We spent a couple's break here in July. Our room was spacious, with a little balcony over the town marina and lovely sunset views. The renovated period building is beautiful, and the location is a real plus. Breakfast is served for an extra charge at Hotel L'Approdo, run by the same company, about 20 meters away; there isn't a breakfast room here. We also found the elevator a bit noisy, and the windows and doors let in sound.

Castellabate was very quiet when we came, with practically everything closed, and the places that were open shut at strange hours. We chose this stay so we could use the Approdo Thalasso spa, and the nearby parking was really convenient. The rooms seemed a little worn, and the cleanliness wasn't great, in my opinion.

The food stood out, with excellent dishes focused on natural local ingredients, and the staff were courteous and professional throughout. This lovely period hotel looks out over the port of San Marco. Rooms are bright and roomy, with sea views, elegant furnishings, and beautiful majolica tiles in the bathrooms and on the floors. The package includes the same amenities as the nearby Approdo Resort Thalasso Spa: a bathrobe and slippers, spa access, an umbrella and loungers at the private beach, pool access, buffet breakfast, and a three-course dinner. A real gem in a beautiful region.

A lovely spot for a night by the port of San Marco di Castellabate, and a convenient base for enjoying the Approdo Spa. The property has real charm and the price felt fair. Recommended.

The rooms were clean, tidy, and had the comforts we needed. It's a great place right in the center. I'd recommend it if you're after a peaceful, relaxing holiday.
