The pool was lovely and never crowded, and Taormina is close by bus. A great place with an amazing view. I’d absolutely recommend it!

Castelmola is a lovely little town, with plenty of good restaurants to try. Hotel Sonia is also a great base, though getting out means walking or driving uphill, which makes sense in such a hilly area. The Garden Cottages are especially nice for relaxing on the terrace, whether you're eating or reading, with a wonderful view over the ravines to the sea. The staff are incredibly friendly. Highly recommended!

We rented a beautiful apartment for two, furnished with antiques and laid out with two bathrooms, a large kitchen, and a huge terrace overlooking Mount Etna. The grounds also include a pool, a spacious sun terrace, and parking. The welcome was warm and helpful, and David spoke perfect French. It’s a magnificent, almost sumptuous property in a magical setting. A real wow, and highly recommended.
