We loved having the indoor and outdoor pools to enjoy every day, and the location for skiing in and out couldn’t be better. There was live music in the evenings, and I’m hooked on their Como Shamballa signature tea, the best I’ve tried. The concierge were so helpful too. Everyone made us feel welcome. Gianni and Sabrina from the ski Rental were incredibly nice and patient with our kids, Mateo and Chiara at the bar and restaurant were great, and Julian the GM was always on top of things and checking that hotel guests were happy. We had such a wonderful stay at Como Alpina that we’ve already booked for next year. The one thing I’d have liked was more activities for our 9 and 10 year olds, since the kids club was geared more toward little kids.

The hotel made skiing incredibly easy. Everything was arranged inside, and we could head out directly onto the slopes without walking over to them. The ski rental staff were all friendly and helpful, and they prepared everything for us before we arrived. The front desk manager was one of the best I’ve met, and arranged a late checkout so I had time after my last day of skiing. The service was perfect, the staff were amazing, helpful, and friendly, and the food was exquisite. Everything was extraordinary. If I could give the hotel more than five stars, I would. The food and views are top notch, and breakfast in particular was fantastic. Everything was fresh, made with high-quality ingredients, well prepared, and tasted heavenly. The quality wasn’t consistent, though. Some breakfast items were cooked noticeably differently on the first and second days. Our stay was two nights. Bad weather delayed us on the first night, and when we arrived late, nobody was there to greet us or help with the luggage. I had to get the trolley and load everything myself. The rooms were ordinary and didn’t match the nightly price. Some staff gave impeccable service, while others were curt and nearly rude. We did get a surprise bottle of champagne for our special occasion. Even with the excellent food and view, I can’t justify paying more than SGD $1K a night. It definitely felt way overpriced.

Sabrina at the spa is a magician. I’d recommend booking with her if you’re thinking about facial skincare or changing up your routine. She’s both professional and personable, takes time to understand what you need, and tailors the treatment to suit you. The spa itself is a peaceful place to unwind after a day outdoors, with lovely lighting and a calm atmosphere.

The SPA was incredible, with several kinds of sauna, a nice swimming pool, and a relaxing area. Breakfast had lots of variety and delicious, high-quality ingredients. The rooms were comfortable, with a wonderful view and a great bathroom. Staff were helpful, friendly, and very efficient. This hotel is excellent!
