Garni Rives

The breakfast was a lovely surprise, with plenty of fresh food, good coffee and sweets. Our room was cozy and had a great view of the city. Luis (i think thats how it’s spelled) was so kind and even helped my friend and me work out our hiking routes. We loved staying here and would definitely recommend it!

For a 2 star hotel, the value seemed reasonable, with no real luxuries but the basics covered. What made the stay so unpleasant was how management treated us after my friend slipped in the shower, broke the screen and cut his arm. They showed no concern or empathy for his injury. Instead, they threatened by phone to throw us out and call the police, then demanded repair payments at crazy prices through threatening messages on their mobile phones.

The host made everything easy from the start, welcoming us warmly and explaining what we needed to know. Our room was cleaned carefully each morning, and the whole place was clearly kept up throughout the day. It was very clean, neat, and had all the essentials, plus a large balcony overlooking the city and mountains. Breakfast had lots of different foods and drinks and was really tasty. The host was kind, helpful, and efficient, and our stay was more than pleasant. We’d recommend it.

The balcony view was terrific, and the location made it easy to get downtown in just a few minutes. Breakfast was great, and our room was clean, with daily cleaning. The hosts were professional and so helpful, always ready with recommendations when we asked. Staying at Garni Rives also includes a free bus ticket and access to the pool, about 3 minutes away. I couldn't be happier with our stay.
