Hotel Bellavista

Rooms here are large and nice, the service is impeccable, and the food is good. There are even a couple of EV chargers in the garage. For dinner, though, the vegetarian option could be improved. I’m not sure the chef cared much for vegetarians, since the dishes seemed thrown together without much love.

We’d happily stay here again if we returned to Alpe Di Siusi. The location high up on Alpe di Siusi is stunning, with a great sun terrace and a lovely place to have a beer outside as the sun sets on the mountains. Staff were friendly and informative, especially during check-in, and spoke English. One woman even walked us outside to point out places of interest and restaurants. Our room was spacious and clean, and the breakfast buffet had lots of good options: ham, cheese, cooked egg, pastries, bread, fresh fruit salad, cereals, tea, and coffee. We weren’t inspired by the dinner menu, so we went to Ristorante Alpi instead. It’s a 5-10 min walk uphill, with amazing views and tasty food at great value. The main area for improvement was the bar and waiting staff. They could be friendlier and more approachable. I felt some distance when ordering drinks, quite the opposite of the warm welcome from the main woman at reception. Also, wellness facilities cost 4€ per person. I’d prefer this included in the price, since people generally book hotels with wellness facilities to use them.

There’s parking right at the hotel, a nice view from the room, and daily cleaning. Breakfast was good quality, and the staff were friendly. It’s a small but cozy hotel with good value for money. The location is strategic, right by the entrance to Alpe Di Siusi and close to the bus stop.

Everyone working at Hotel Bella Vista was very friendly, and the food was great too. We loved our stay!
