The staff were amazing and pointed us toward some of the area's best hiking routes. Breakfast was excellent, and our balcony looked out at the beautiful jagged mountains. The hotel is in a great spot, just a 5-7 minute walk from the cable car, which takes you to the best trails in Compaccio. We also didn't have to pay for cable car parking.

It's about a 150 m walk to the ski lift, and up at Seiser Alm, by the top of the gondola, there are shelves where you can leave your shoes. Breakfast is simple but good, with meat and cheese, cereal, yogurt, bread, and fresh coffee. The building isn't new, but it's in good shape. Wi-Fi was a bit unreliable in our room, though still acceptable.

We were really impressed by how kindly the husband and wife who own the place looked after us. They were warm, helpful, and seemed happy to assist with anything. Breakfast was delicious and made fresh by the husband. When we needed to leave before the usual breakfast hour, they kindly packed a simple but filling meal for the journey. The room felt homey, clean, and comfortable, with nice decor and a moderate amount of space. The village is peaceful, with lovely mountain views, and it's around a 15-minute drive to Ortisei town center. Parking on site was convenient, and the price was much more reasonable than staying in the center. If you're visiting Ortisei, I'd recommend it. I'd happily return.

The room stayed comfortable during our shoulder-season visit, even with no AC. It could get a little noisy at times since the place is beside a main road and we kept the window open, though traffic was light in the evenings. We stayed a few days in September 2025, and this was the most memorable stop on our Dolomites trip. The room was clean, and the host and staff were friendly. They made great cappuccino at breakfast and left apples at reception for guests heading out on hikes. The tourist information center, village drinking fountain, and grocery shops are within walking distance. The fountain water is drinkable and comes from the mountains. The Cabinovia Alpe di Siusi is also very close, about a five-minute walk, for the cable car to Seisler Alm/Alpe di Siusi. For the places we visited, the drives were about 30 minutes to an hour: Ortisei, Lago Carezza, Seceda via Col Raiser, St Magdalena, and Geisler Alm/Adolf Munkel Weg via Malga Zannes.
