Christelehof

We’ve stayed here in both summer and winter, including February. It’s a very quiet spot, about five minutes from Castelrotto and ten minutes from the Siusi ski lifts. The apartments are spacious and have everything you need for an easy holiday. Outside them there’s a library with lots of books, high chairs, and discounts for younger children. The Obexer family are always available to hear what you need and help when they can. It’s especially good for kids, with a garden right in front and several play options, including a slide, swing, and ping-pong table.

There’s a little play area for children, with swings, a slide, playhouse, sandbox, ping-pong, and table football for older kids. The apartment has what you need for a holiday, including a kitchen, and there’s a large lockable garage at no extra cost. You can also order fresh bread and homemade preserves. From the window, we had beautiful views across the valley and vineyards, and the Saiser Alm gondola is a short drive away.

Comfortable, clean, and well equipped, with everything needed for a ski trip. The owners are friendly, and you can communicate with them in German or English. The only drawback is the distance to the ski areas, but if the drive doesn’t bother you, I really recommend it. The price is affordable too. And the photo is our dawn view from the balcony, an extra plus :)

We spent a week here, using it as a great base for excursions and visits to nearby villages. The apartments have been renovated, the place is clean, and the owners are very kind. It’s a quiet location. Excellent.
