The family owners were really helpful whenever we had questions, and the location is stunning. We stayed in September for a walking holiday. The rooms were huge, spotless, and charming, if not super modern. Food was good: buffet breakfast and a single dinner sitting with a fixed 4 or 5 course menu. The buffet starter and little starter dishes were fantastic. The mains were rustic rather than fine dining, but tasty, nutritious, and filling, just right after a day of activity. The spa was clean and nice, but full of naked Germans, so we didn’t stay long 😂

Hotel Tyrol has a lovely, warm feel, and a walk in the garden was pure peace and happiness. The views are breathtaking, and the architecture is exquisite, keeping a traditional style that so few hotels in the area still have. The rooms were extremely clean and beautifully decorated, with details everywhere catching your eye. Food was delicious and abundant, and the pool and sauna were perfect. The family running the place were friendly and ready to grant any request. We hope it never changes and look forward to being back soon. Thank you to fam. Malfertheiner and staff.

We loved our four-night family stay at Hotel Tyrol, which exceeded our expectations. The hotel sits just above Castelrotto amid fields, yet the main square is only about five minutes away. Staff were welcoming, the food and breakfast were good, and everything was extremely clean. I’m lactose intolerant, and the waiters and waitresses were kind and understanding, finding good options for every meal. It’s also great for kids, with an outdoor park with slides, swings, a tree-house, and a mini-hut they can use as a house, plus a fully equipped kids room inside. There’s a swimming pool and sauna, and a 50% off discount for the Marinzen lift and the Alpe di Siusi card.

Incredible views and just a short walk into town. The rooms have everything exactly right, and both the food and staff are AWESOME. My all-time favorite hotel in the world!!!! Thank you!!
