We spent 14 days in Apartment E for a cross-country skiing holiday. The apartment was very clean and pleasantly warm, and booking was easy. We liked its design, especially the cozy feel at night with the warm lights and snow outside. The setting is peaceful and Alpine, though still convenient: about 10 minutes on foot to the cable car, and 5 minutes to the bus stop and supermarket. Booking directly with the accommodation may get you the best price. Cooking took much longer than expected because the induction stove was very weak. Even on full power, it boiled water more slowly than an electric kettle, so making a meal took about three times as long. The shared hot water system was also frustrating. If one of us showered while someone else washed dishes, the shower temperature swung unpredictably between too cold and too hot. The small sauna is shared by reservation and limited to four, or sometimes three, people at once. I think it would make more sense to reserve it by room or apartment. The jacuzzi outlet also had sediment in it. It took five days before the water ran clear without spraying black residue, unless you wanted to spend an evening repeatedly filling and draining the tub to flush it out. These smaller issues weren’t a big deal, but they did affect the stay.

After an early hike, coming back to this room felt like having our own little refuge. We stayed three nights and were really happy with the experience. The rooms are spacious and modern, and we especially liked the showers: strong water pressure and a clever shower-tub setup. Marco and his team made us feel welcome after days in the mountains. They were friendly and took a real interest in making the stay work well for us. When we had to catch an early bus on our last day, Marco kindly packed some food for the road. Breakfast had plenty of variety and good quality, with different items each day so it didn’t get repetitive. We also used the pool, which was refreshing after a hot day out. The hotel is just a short five-minute walk west of the town center. There’s a pleasant footpath from the main bus station.

We’ve been returning every year since my son was four, and he’s 17 now. The only break was during lockdown. It’s about a 10-minute walk, or a short bus ride, to the cable car for Alpe di Siusi/Seiser Alm, with access to both alpine and cross-country skiing. The owners and staff are attentive and very friendly. Breakfast is luxurious and healthy, and there’s a children’s playroom, a pool, and laundry. The spacious, clean rooms and apartments are well equipped, each with a kitchenette and jacuzzi bath. Dogs are welcome too.

Really good spot for skiers staying in Siusi. The ski bus is convenient, the sauna is great, and the hosts are very friendly. Breakfast has lots of options, the bar is nice, and the rooms feel cozy. Best surprise: there’s a big fluffy cat around. I’d happily come back.
