Golf Hotel Sonne

We really enjoyed our two nights at the Golfhotel Sonne. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the setting was breathtaking. Breakfast and dinner were both high quality, and the staff made an extra effort to accommodate dietary requests. Thanks to everyone there for making the visit so memorable.

We loved the peaceful setting beside the Seiser Alm bahn cable car, as well as the superb dinner with its fresh, flavorful choices. Breakfast was a generous buffet, and the spa had lots of room to lounge. Outside, though, the lawn seating could use sturdier, more inviting chairs. The soft ones there now look shabby and worn. One thing to keep in mind when booking: our room had no AC, and with almost no cross breeze and the setting sun shining into the window, it got uncomfortably hot. The hotel never advertised AC, but this was still an issue for us. Also, a dirty pile of sheets and towels that wasn't ours stayed outside our door from check-in to check-out. Nobody came to collect it, so I mentioned it to the staff when we left.

The kitchen is very good, and the staff are pleasant. We slept comfortably in a quiet room, right on a beautiful golf course. It really is a magical place.

We only stayed for two days, but we'll be back. A lovely place, great people, and good service. The location has a nice view, with a golf course right on the property. Thanks to the whole hotel team ❤️
