The rooms were clean and nicely furnished, and the Wi-Fi worked well. Breakfast was small and self-service, but perfectly fine, with unlimited espresso, homemade marmalade, juice, and fresh fruit, all topped up daily. A friend and I spent a week in Catania and found the B&B on booking.com. We’d recommend booking through the website directly. Pippo is a warm-hearted Sicilian host who welcomes you in person and gives a quick introduction to Catania, including places to visit and places to avoid.

From the moment we walked in, we felt welcome. The owner was incredible, and staying here was such a pleasure. Lovely interiors, a great breakfast, and a perfect location, with hospitality that made us happy. Grazie Mille

The host was so enthusiastic and shared useful tips and advice that only locals would know. The apartment itself was beautiful, with a vintage style, lots of space, a comfortable bed, and it was very clean. Everything is close by and easy to reach on foot. We had a great stay, and I recommend this place as one of the best options you can find.

Pippo was the most welcoming host I’ve ever met. He helped with parking, guides, places to eat and drink, and advice on what to visit or avoid in Catania. Thank you for everything, Pippo. Hope to see you again soon, take care :) B&B Chapo is right in the heart of Catania, next to the main theater. The apartment is clean and has everything you need, but it also has its own character and feels cosy, unlike an ordinary B&B. Breakfast was excellent and catered to dietary needs.

Pippo was extremely polite and gave us helpful suggestions for what to see and where to eat. We spent four lovely days, going out to restaurants, and the Sicilian weather was still good for eating outdoors. The room was clean and very nice, with a lovely Sicilian feel, and the breakfast served in the room was tasty. The location is great, close to everything, so we didn’t need transport. We highly recommend it and will definitely return. Thank you for everything, Pippo, you’re an amazing host! Ewa i Piotr from Krakow.
