Sharing a room with so many people can be hard, but the price was great, and the hostel rooms and shared bathrooms were clean. The rooms are basic. Marco, the owner, is super nice and friendly, and all the staff are very friendly, like most people in Catania. It's in a big, beautiful building with a nice view of Etna. You can walk to the center on via Etnea in 10 minutes and to the bus station in 5, which is really practical. I'll stay here again when I come back, and definitely recommend it!

The place feels welcoming, and the nightly dinners make it easy to meet the other guests. It’s a smaller hostel, kept clean, with pretty standard dorm rooms. The staff are great.

It was an OK hostel, but there isn’t reception around the clock. Keep that in mind if you leave your stuff after check-out. I waited 30-40 minutes for someone to open the wardrobe and nearly missed my train 😑

The staff are great, and the atmosphere is really nice. It’s easy to get to, too. I’d definitely recommend staying here. Ask about the trip or excursion to the Edna, they have connections and good deals you won’t find online! :)

The location felt odd, close to a red light district. The two people running the place seemed strange to me, and they charged me 5 euros to leave my backpack there for two hours after checkout.
