We stayed as a family in early November 2025 and really liked the spot. The fish market runs each morning until 12:00 and is only a 3-4 minute walk away. The bus station is just as close, and you can catch the AliBus there to the airport. There’s also a kitchen to cook in, a fridge, and a washing machine.

It’s a clean, cozy little apartment, and the owner was very kind and helpful. But I wouldn’t say it works for families: being so near the center makes it hard to sleep at night. It’s on the ground floor too, and unpleasant smells from outside can get in and bother you.

Everything was close by, and I walked to both the cathedral and Catania’s fish market. The place was super clean, right in the center, and felt like home. I was very comfortable there and highly recommend it.

We stayed over the May 1st long weekend at "A picciridda house." The owners were kind and helpful, and the house was comfortable, clean, and well organized. You can access a garage too. It’s a great spot for exploring Catania on foot.

The owner was always available when we needed something and was very helpful. We spent five days there and felt at home. The apartment was clean, the beach was nearby, and Catania’s city center was only five minutes away. It’s a beautiful, peaceful place. Thank you so much! Best regards!
