There was plenty of space, two toilets, a washing machine, a pleasant balcony and a car park. The location was okay, though the busy roads nearby brought a lot of noise, and there was no Wi-Fi. The main problem was the electricity: plugging anything in would trip the circuit and cut the power.

We had the whole apartment, and it was very good.

The apartment is roomy and well placed for getting around the city, though it's not especially close to the center. It has parking inside the gated building, and it's handy for the airport and the highway. The decor feels like the 70s or 80s, and there's no Wi-Fi. Mrs. Giovanna is lovely and keeps the place spotless.

We paid €160 for three nights for four people, which felt like very good value. The living room was lovely and spacious, with comfortable sofas, and the apartment made a great base for driving around eastern Sicily. Mrs. Giovanna was very kind, and check-in and checkout were quick and easy. No need to pack holy cards, there'll be some there!

We found the apartment very clean, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. There's loads of space and private parking, so it worked well for our large family. The ring road and metro are just a few steps away, making it a great base for Catania and the surrounding area.
