Harmony Rooms

It was a terrible experience in the middle of the night, with what sounded like a literal trash compactor running right under the single-pane glass. They need decent windows that can block that noise. It was atrocious.

The location was the best part, and the price made the place alright. The room was spacious and the bed fairly comfortable. But street noise was heavy, and the windows need better insulation. On the second day, an unpleasant, strange smell came up from the bathroom pipes. I also had to struggle with the door lock because the key sometimes wouldn't work.

The street-side rooms have an astonishing view over the city and Etna, and the center is only 8-10 minutes away on foot, or 3 minutes by bus or subway. It's a great base for exploring Sicily from Catania. The staff are friendly and flexible, the rooms cozy and super clean, and there are free soft drinks in the fridge. The price is reasonable too. Great place to stay, 5/5.

The service was lovely, and the rooms are beautiful, each with its own bathroom. There's a water boiler, and breakfast is huge: muesli, cakes, and even the chance to make your own orange juice, plus coffee or tea. It's just 1 min from the airport transfer station for the Alibus, and close to the bus and train stations. Highly recommended.
