The location worked perfectly for us, right by the train station and a short walk to the Centro. Staff were friendly and helpful, especially when our flight delay meant we didn't arrive until nearly midnight. Breakfast was smaller than we're used to but still quite good. The linens were clean and good quality, though the rooms need updating, especially the showers. The bed comforters should be replaced.

It's about a 15 minute walk to most tourist spots, and the route can feel seedy at night. The only really convenient thing nearby is the train station. The location was okay, but the room was dated and dusty, with a stiff mattress. The staff member who checked us in was unfriendly and unhelpful when I asked about parking our car in the garage, acting as if I should already know the answers. Breakfast did the job, but nothing special, and watch out, pigeons will go for your food if you get up for a second.

Each room in this boutique hotel has its own theme and wall decor, and there's an interesting quiet reading room/office too. The service was awesome, and the breakfast pastry selection was great. It's an old hotel, but has its own charm. We'll definitely stay again if we're bising Catania in the future.

I stayed with my elderly Italian father, and the staff were kind and attentive. The facilities were good, but Francesco at the front desk went above and beyond after we left. My father had left his watch in security at the airport, and Francesco went over to help him. We really appreciated it.

It’s an easy walk of about 1km into the centre, and buses, the metro and scooters make getting around simple too. The hotel is lovely to look at, and the rooms were very clean and regularly tidied. Staff were cheerful, polite and helpful, and breakfast was excellent. The air conditioning worked well; it runs on a timer and switches off after a while, but that caused me no trouble. I’d recommend it :)
