Relais Anfitheatro

Anna was a fantastic host and shared useful suggestions for places to visit, eat, and park, including in nearby cities. We felt safe just steps from the center, and the rooms were large and beautiful. The setup worked well for our family or a group, with four spacious private rooms and a pleasant shared area with a kitchen and lobby. I'd happily recommend staying here.

We really liked the room, it was spacious and decorated beautifully, and the central location made it easy to explore Catania. Anna was warm and professional. We could relax in the patio at night after the kids had gone to sleep, and the minibar had complimentary non-alcoholic drinks. Breakfast works through a voucher for a nearby cafe, where we had a tasty, typical Italian breakfast. Definitely a great choice in Catania.

During my four-night business trip to Catania in July 2024, I was glad to return each evening to a comfortable, cozy room. It was spacious and clean, and the bathroom was well kept. The shared kitchen, large fridge, and freezer came in handy for things that wouldn’t fit in the mini-fridge, like a pizza box. There was complimentary coffee and a range of snacks on the counter and in each room. The location worked well for walking around the historic area and finding good restaurants. One thing I’d change is the bed blanket: its cover only wraps partway around, and I’d find a fully removable cover more practical and hygienic.

Anna went out of her way for us. Our flight was delayed and we arrived around 9 pm, but she stayed up, then even got into the car with us to show us where to park and how to pay. Her food recommendations were great too. The room was nicely decorated and comfortable for my husband and me, and the location put Catania’s main sights within walking distance. I’m so glad we booked here.
