Selena was a kind host and shared lots of useful information. The apartment was cozy and very nice, about a 20-minute walk from Plazza del Duomo.

There wasn't enough toilet paper, and the place could have used a washing machine. It was otherwise very clean and well maintained. (Trip was in 2017)

The neighborhood is quieter and less active than the busier areas, so we stayed alert when walking at night. Still, we always felt safe there, even with children, and it wasn't as bad as some reviews made it sound. The city center is a short walk away, and the "Libertà" Alibus stop is just 4 minutes away on foot. My family and I booked the Arancia apartment and the one facing the street. Both were very clean, with roomy rooms and comfortable beds. The owner was exceptionally kind and even let us check out late for free. I highly recommend it.

We had a lovely stay on our short trip to Catania with four girls. The apartment was in a convenient spot, pleasant, and away from the city's chaos. Selene was really, really kind. Highly recommended!
