The calm, laid-back feel here really stood out. It can feel like time has stopped and you have the beach to yourself. The staff are always smiling, friendly, and helpful. Special thanks to the woman at the bar, who gave me Italian lessons every day at 8. Grazie😘 I hope you enjoy the place as much as we did. A heads-up for campers: don’t arrive on Sunday before 8 p.m. The road gets blocked by locals driving to the beach, and we were stuck waiting for three hours. Seriously, that narrow one-way street becomes impossible to get through.

We spent four nights here, and the remote setting was a big part of the experience. Parking by the sea beneath the trees was breathtaking, and the mini-market stayed open. We also liked getting fresh baguettes in the morning. The location is stunning, but the campsite facilities need renovation. Late in the season, they didn’t seem to get much cleaning: the showers were quite dirty and the mirrors were unusable.

This is the place I’d been hoping to find since I first started exploring Sicily. I’m still here, living through the best week of my 40 days on the island. The beach is beautiful, and the campsite among the trees feels a little wild and off the beaten path, with room to feel free. There’s a well-stocked shop and restaurant, and the staff are brilliant and helpful. P.S. I love reading the negative comments from “couch dogs”.

The pine trees and beach make for a lovely, relaxed campsite, and it’s a great place to enjoy the beach with dogs. The sanitary facilities are basic, though, and the owners came across as unfriendly. They seemed more focused on money and high prices than caring for the campsite or making guests feel welcome. Even without electricity the prices are quite high, and hot showers cost extra.
