We were very disappointed with our stay at Camping Cavallino Village. Reception and our delegate told us about siesta and quiet hours, but nobody seemed to enforce them. Cars drove around whenever they wanted, before 7 in the morning, during siesta, and late at night until midnight. There didn’t seem to be a proper playground for children, so they played around the mobile homes and shouted nonstop from early morning until late at night. We saw no staff monitoring things or trying to keep order. If you want a peaceful, relaxing holiday, this isn’t the place.

The beachfront location is nice, but it’s too far to walk to the bus stops or the centre.

The pitches are spacious, though some are dusty and not all have shade. Our premium pitch near the sea had no shade, so I’d pick a different one next time. The sea was warm and nice, the restaurant was great, and the animation team was amazing. It’s a beautiful campsite, and we had a great time. We’ll be back, thank you!

The main problem for us was the noise. A pop-up stage played club music and karaoke until 11 PM several nights in a row. It was so loud that we couldn’t relax, play our own music, watch a show, or get to bed early. The crowd was pretty big, and I suppose that fits a resort that isn’t focused on quiet time in nature. But then maintenance started at 7 AM the next morning, with noisy trash trucks and hedge trimming. There really weren’t quiet hours. The sandy pitches also meant sand got everywhere and our feet were constantly dirty. There’s a lot to like here: friendly staff, clean facilities and grounds, a nice beach setup, shops with what you need, good food, and a family-friendly atmosphere. I would have given it three stars, but leaving early was a terrible last experience. The gate guard was incredibly rude and spoke to me as if I were breaking the law by trying to drive out early. The security seemed poorly trained and acted like they had authority over me. If you want a quiet beach stay away from the city, look elsewhere. If you want a full-on family holiday where kids can dance until 11 PM and play all day, this could suit you. I don’t recommend staying here.

The animation team made our stay much better, and that’s why I’d give the place three stars instead of two. Otherwise, it feels like they charge for everything, even air. We stayed in a mobile home, not at the camping pitches. It was advertised for four, but felt tiny for one adult and two children aged 14 and 12. One single bed was wedged between two walls, so moving around in your sleep could mean banging into a wall and waking everyone. You have to bring or pay extra for toilet paper, towels, and sheets, and air conditioning costs extra too. There were no curtains or blinds, so we used the thick bed throws to cover the windows. A parasol and two beach beds cost about 30 euros a day, which is too much on top of the already expensive mobile home, even though the beach is very good and the shallow sea was clear most days. Internet costs 20 euros per week per device, so with four people and two extra devices that’s 120 euros a week. I’d get a cheap SIM from Very or Lyca instead. There’s a small gym, but it costs 5 euros each visit, and inflating the kids’ sea toys costs another euro. The village itself is lovely, with green surroundings that provide much-needed shade. The pool is amazing, with lots of jets and a jacuzzi. Most pools in Italy ask you to wear a swimming cap, so bring one along. I think it’s best for families with children up to 10, who’ll fit in the small spaces and enjoy the excellent animation and evening shows. The shows seemed good for them, finish at 11, and aren’t too loud. This could easily be a five-star place if they knew how to look after guests instead of making them feel like cash cows.
