Sapore di Sale 2

The kitchen had everything we needed, and the mattresses were comfortable, so we slept well. Keeping the windows shut and the air conditioning on worked great. The apartment had a city view, the only option, but Sapore di Sale was just what we wanted so we wouldn’t have to move the car. Shops and the beach are nearby, and Mrs. Simona was kind and helpful. We’d decided at the last minute to add a few vacation days and had searched everywhere before finding Imperia.

We spent four days here with our baby and had a wonderful time. The apartment has been tastefully renovated and comes with Wi-Fi, a washing machine, and other amenities. Staff were knowledgeable and efficient, and we enjoyed the lovely view from the balcony. It’s conveniently located close to both the city center and the sea, which was enchanting.

The house is nice, but the area is busy and noisy. It was missing basics too, with no toiletries, hair dryer, or even towels. For a single night, a 50 euro cleaning fee made the price far too high. I don’t recommend it.

We stayed in winter. The room facing the street was small but clean, though there were plenty of problems. There were no curtains, so people outside could see everything. The boiler never heated the water during our stay, and a technician kept coming into the house. Free parking was hard to find. We paid full price despite all that. Not something I’ll forget.
