The view was lovely, and the location is fairly handy, around a 20-minute drive from the main beaches. The road up is very dark at night. There's real potential here, with large rooms, a big pool, and plenty of parking. But our room wasn't clean. We found spiders, lizards, cobwebs, and ants as soon as we walked in. Hot water took ages to come through, and when we turned on the fountains the water ran yellow, which made it seem like the rooms hadn't been opened or cleaned for a long time. Sun beats down on the rooms all morning, so ours was unbearably hot when we arrived. We asked the owner about using the air conditioning for a small fee, but were told it didn't work. Once we'd opened the windows and aired it out, we slept fairly well with them open all night, though we worried about bugs or bats coming in since there are no shutters or screens. Breakfast was decent, with plain croissants, small portions of jam or chocolate spread, milk, cereal, coffee, and toast. Still, after a cold shower, no working air conditioning, and such dirty rooms, the experience was negative, especially for what I paid for one night. I wouldn't recommend it.

Greenery surrounds this place, well away from towns, so the air is fresh and clean and it feels relaxing. The main beaches are a convenient 15-20 minute drive away. The garden is well kept, and the owner was welcoming and helpful, quickly sorting out a problem getting the boiler started. The room opens through French doors, which makes privacy limited. There was no mosquito net, so we had to keep the doors shut to stop lizards and insects getting in. No TV in the room was noticeable during downtime, and there is no air conditioning. Breakfast was basic: a croissant, ring cake and toast, with water, milk and coffee. We couldn't use the pool during our stay. With a few small improvements to the green and pool areas, and some general attention, this place could become a real luxury oasis.

The owner, Mr. Filippo, was lovely and ready to help with anything we needed. Breakfast was excellent, with freshly made croissants, fruit, and savory choices, and we could eat in the dining room or out in the garden. I stayed four days and found the place excellent for its deep sense of peace and relaxation. The nights were cool, so I slept well. I'll definitely return and recommend it.

Surrounded by greenery, this is a lovely property in a strategic location. The pool is lovely too, and breakfast was good and fairly varied. The one drawback was that fans had replaced the air conditioning. Some general upkeep and small fixes would help. Filippo is a nice, helpful owner. We'll be back.

We stayed from July 11th to 16th and really enjoyed the quiet and the views, which were breathtaking. It was a strategic base for exploring the beautiful area, away from the crowds and with the cooler temperatures of the mid-hills. The rooms were spacious and well equipped, the pool was large, and breakfast was plentiful. The air conditioning wasn't working, but the location kept things cool enough for us to sleep wonderfully anyway. Mr. Filippo was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. We'll definitely return!
