Hotel Domus

The room was very spacious, and we were welcomed warmly. The hotel is very close to the center.

We stayed the night of August 16-17, 2024, to split up our drive to Puglia. For the price in high season, it’s good value, and the location works well for visiting the Frasassi Caves, about 15 minutes away. The staff were very friendly, though the breakfast was a bit lacking. Check-in takes some planning since reception isn’t always staffed: you call the number on the website, and the person who answers gives you an access code to enter and pick up the room keys. My girlfriend and I had just one major complaint, the curtains didn’t block the light, so the streetlights shone into the room.

The hotel was welcoming and the rooms clean, but the service could be better. The fridge was always empty, and the shower head never worked. The towel rack broke less than 20 seconds after I entered the room. There’s nobody at reception after 8:00 PM, so if something goes wrong in your room, you’re left to manage on your own. I paid, but I’m still waiting for the receipt the receptionist said they’d send.

We found the management and staff incredibly friendly, and Renato at reception was especially professional and kind. The rooms were new, spacious, well equipped, and clean, and breakfast was excellent. It’s a quiet, practical hotel with all the comforts, including thoughtful service. For a stay near Fabriano, it’s the best.
