Claudia was a lovely, smiling face when we met her one morning, and made the place feel more personal. Please pass on our thanks and say hello. We spent five nights in the ground-floor Turchese flat, which felt generous and spacious, and had everything we needed. It was clean and well equipped, with the simple extras that made it comfortable. We hadn’t travelled on our own for many years and had high expectations, but were delighted we’d booked this apartment. Thanks for everything, including the client contact and ordering process. We’re seeing Bob Dylan on the 6/7/23, so what could really go wrong? Jonny and Tamar

The only thing we found lacking was garbage bags, there weren’t enough even for a stay under a week. Otherwise, the apartment has everything you might need, including kitchenware and a washing machine, and it’s very reasonably priced for being within Lucca’s walls. It’s just off the main streets in the historic center, near Porta San Donato, and well suited to families.

We’ll choose Residenza degli Artisti again on our next trip to Lucca. The apartment was spotless, well furnished, and had what we needed for a comfortable stay, including two bathrooms, Wi-Fi, digital door openers, and two TVs. It’s ideally situated inside the city walls.
