Hotiday Milano Marittima Pineta

Our lodges were well equipped and had lots of facilities. The restaurant was good, with food of a decent standard. The location was excellent, and they were flexible about our needs, including serving breakfast at 6 am. The beach bar and sunbeds were the downside. A day's rental at 50 euros is far too expensive, and only one of around 100 sunbeds was in use. That must mean little or no income for the beach bar. I'd suggest charging residents 10 euros and non-residents 50 euros. A busier area could draw tourists to the shop, and give the staff something to do besides policing the sunbeds.

We found the free beach at 69 by accident, but it's a good option if you're on a tight budget. Bring an umbrella and a portable cooler, and enjoy!

The pitches are a good size, some with shade, and the beach is close by. The staff and facilities were very good too. You can’t sit on the beach in the area they manage unless you rent chairs and an umbrella, though there’s a public beach just a few metres away where you can bring your own chairs. There was building work next door starting at 6 a.m., so it got a little noisy. I’d still visit again 😀

There’s a forest just across the road that’s great for walks and bike rides, and the location is close to restaurants. You have the shop, restaurant, facilities and beach access right there. The showers and toilets weren’t very clean, at least in the off season. I didn’t see a cleaner once.
