Hotel Levante Cesenatico

For anyone wanting time by the sea or a walk around Cesenatico, Hotel Antonia is wonderfully placed. Our holiday also felt unbeatable for the price, and the food and rooms were satisfactory. We usually stay at the Village Hotel and hadn't tried this property before. Claudio and Matteo, the managers, gave us a particularly warm welcome, and Giulia and Ernesto were excellent, dependable staff. The atmosphere was courteous and easygoing, and people were generally very helpful. Thanks, Village Hotel. Roberto and Laura will be back soon.

Ernesto and Giulia at reception were especially kind and helpful, and Claudio, the manager, was attentive and professional. It was our third year booking a vacation through Village Hotel offers, but our first time at this property. We were very pleased: the food was well prepared, the rooms clean, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and the staff were both professional and friendly. Great value for money. We'll be back!

The management was the worst part. We reported problems and nobody seemed interested in dealing with them; the staff came across as rude and as if we were a burden. The hotel itself is old and run-down, and the website photos don't match what we found. Our room smelled bad and was dirty, the sheets were stained, the towels worn, and the cramped bathroom had mold everywhere and a leaking sink. The air conditioning didn't work, and when we asked for help the response was rude and useless. Breakfast was poor, with little variety and low-quality food. We tried the restaurant once: bland dishes, slow service, and prices far too high for such poor quality. This was easily the worst hotel I've stayed in, and a horrible experience. It would ruin a beach holiday, and I wouldn't recommend spending your money here.

The large room and the low price were definite pluses, and the location was excellent. The furniture was very dated, there was no drying rack or refrigerator, and cleaning and linen changes were only every two days. Breakfast was poor, and the hotel's public bathroom was constantly out of order. I'd stay again with those limits in mind, since the location is so good and the price was great, but I wouldn't expect much from the service or food. Up to you.
